It’s a Civil War At Sunway Shopping Malls!

With the upcoming release of Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War on 28 April, it’s super hero season all over again! Sunway Putra Mall are exclusively working with Disney and Marvel to bring shoppers and Marvel fans together to celebrate the release of the film from 15 April until 8 May 2016. 

Boasting an ensemble cast and an almost complete Avengers line-up, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War will see Captain America and Iron Man go neck to neck while standing for what they believe in. They are not alone, as other superheroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe chooses sides and joins in the melee. Team Cap or Team Iron Man? Freedom or security? Whose side are you on? 

Fans can expect an unforgettable experience at Sunway Putra Mall where the shopper’s experience begins with determining which side they want to be on as they enter the arena, Team Cap or Team Iron Man. 

Highly detailed figurine from Lil’ Monsters will be on display, along with a life sized figurine of Captain America, which will be standing tall in the middle of the Main Concourse. There will also be an interactive augmented reality station where shoppers can virtually don Captain America’s shield or Iron Man’s gauntlet while taking home a photo.

Shoppers can also look forward to the Cosplay Competition on May 2. Lovers of the comic book character can also participate in a Captain America: Cosplay Competitionwhere they get to cosplay in their best suit as their preferred character from the movie. Winners will be judged based on two categories which are children and adult category. Watch the contestants battle it out to win attractive prizes worth more than RM2,500 sponsored by both Sunway Putra Mall and Lil Monsters.

电影《火锅英雄》

感谢mm2 Entertainment，我们在昨晚预先观赏了将于4月21日正式上映的电影：《火锅英雄》。作为2016年香港国际电影节的开幕影片，这部电影题材新鲜，故事内容紧凑，绝对适合所有年青人观赏。没有去过重庆的我，看完电影后倒是蛮期待去那里游玩的。

《火锅英雄》由陈国富监制、杨庆编剧及导演、陈坤、白百何、秦昊、喻恩泰联袂主演。该电影讲述了合伙开洞子火锅店的三兄弟刘波、许东和王平川，在 扩充店面时意外挖开了银行金库，面对天降横财，三人陷入抉择拉锯之时与老同学于小惠重聚，由此展开了一个“惊天大案”的故事。 

麻辣火锅飘出黑色幽默的味道

“片名不具有吸引力，让人以为是一部普遍平平无奇的电影，结果一看却让人有惊喜，充满黑色幽默气息。”一位观众看完《火锅英雄》后直呼没想到影片那么好看的评论。很多观众称赞这部电影就像重庆麻辣火锅，具有浓郁的地方特色，融合犯罪、悬疑和情感元素，看完后很过瘾。

阳光帅气的陈坤

第一次演社会底层失意的年轻人

片中，陈坤饰演的角色跟以往不同，第一次饰演社会底层失意年轻人，其落魄、挣扎、痛苦的形象非常到位，几段内心戏煎熬到嘴角抽搐的片段十分惊艳，尽力还原人物本身的平民气质。在不少影评人的评价是：“这种小人物的表演难度极高，做惯了大明星的陈坤能重新拾捡起普通人的味道，回归到生活的质朴本色，实属难得。”有观众夸道：“导演与陈坤都是重庆人，感觉他们不是演员，而是我们身边的人。”

故事情节：

在滿佈防空洞的重庆，打死不离三個好兄弟兼老同学刘波（陈坤饰）、许东（秦昊饰）、王平川（喻恩泰饰）开麻辣火锅店，经营不善，唯有卖店抵债，但店小价钱低，三兄弟想学地产商发财，掘地洞扩大店。但掘呀掘，竟然掘出黄金大道，通往银行金库。三兄弟胆小不敢偷，但加一個变四人幫就难讲。本來想封墙全身而退，银行这边却殺出昔日校花於小惠（白百何饰），三人对小惠有感觉，对当了银行职员的校花言听计从，天降横财，打劫也可以。人算不如天算，真劫匪中途破门而入，大战一触即发。

关于《火锅英雄》你应该知道的3件事

1.   1. 电影拍摄地重庆是火锅的天堂，白百何进组后迅速切换到麻辣频率，不仅人变得更加豪爽，对于各式麻辣火锅也是来者不拒，加上导演杨庆和演员陈坤都是重庆人，剧组几乎每天都在吃火锅。

2.   2. 由于电影中涉及到大段的重庆方言，剧组特别为演员们请来语言老师，进行现场一对一教授。

[Movie] The Kid from The Big Apple

I felt honored and excited to be invited to the Gala Premiere of the awards winning movie – The Kid from The Big Apple last Thursday. Happened at GSC Pavillion Kl, we not only had the chance to watch the movie prior to its screening date, we also met the director and main casts during the event. I even took the opportunity to shake hands with them, yay! 

It’s a rare opportunity for us to meet the Golden Horse Award Best Actor Tommy Tam or better known by his stage name Ti Lung, and Jessica Hester Hsuan here in KL. In conjunction with the movie screening, they were in KL to promote the movie alongside with director Jess Teong and the two young Malaysian talents Tan Qin Lin and Tan Jason.

The Kid from The Big Apple movie storyline was a girl, Sarah who was born and raised in New York. She  visits Malaysia for the first time and learns why her grandfather, Gen and mother, Sophia have not seen each other since she was born and why they care so much about their cultural traditions. Elders see the younger generations as eyesores because of their overly 'westernised' (wild/ care free) behaviour and poor moral's. Whilst the youngsters on the other hand, have no time for their elders, who to them seem belong in a museum. Sadly, this is a growing global phenomenon. It is the director's intent to tell this tale in a witty, comical manner and in doing so, hoping that this little slice of life will touch the audiences' heart.

The movie was very touching and hilarious at the same time. We see familiar places in KL as well as heard familiar songs and familiar ‘rojak’ language which is direct translate from English to Chinese. My elder princess, JR and I laugh and cried in the cinema. 

Tommy Tam / Ti Lung

It was indeed a great movie talking about the relationship between different generations. For those who are going to watch the movie, do prepare tissue papers ya.

Jessica Hester Hsuan

In fact, Taiwanese celebrity Vivian Hsu is the executive producer of “The kid from the big apple”. The movie has received International recognition in various film festivals.

Tan Qin Lin (Sarah)

Do you know that it is also the first Malaysian movie to collaborate with International fast food chain, McDonald’s. In conjunction with this collaboration, the movie kicked off its sneak shows 3 weekends prior to the general release, and had since gone viral and gained rave reviews alike.

Movie: Long Long Time Ago 电影 :《我们的故事》

今天来到了农历新年年十一了。这期间我看了不少贺年片，然后觉得很多都是浪费时间和金钱的烂片。但是，我终于看到一部不错的中文电影了。谢谢MM2 Entertainment 的邀请，我们昨天观赏了这部值得去戏院一看的电影。 

话说，新加坡全民导演梁志强连同《我们的故事》演员们昨天亲临大马和媒体朋友拜年。他们在现场很亲民的跟我们一一拍照留念。

《我们的故事》在新加坡首映不但获得新加坡荣誉国务资政吴作栋伉俪亲临捧场，还连续两周荣登新加坡票房榜首，战胜海外贺岁片。 

昨天，梁导连同主要演员陈丽贞、李国煌、陈俊铭、廖永谊、Tosh张智扬、薛素丽、黄晶晶阿嬷提前在吉隆坡会见媒体并顺势拜年，为三月杪在马来西亚上映的《我们的故事》造势。 

梁导表示：“拍摄《我们的故事》最大的难度是前期的筹备工作很费时，要寻找适合的场景，重塑六十年代的甘榜风情不止耗时还耗力耗钱。所幸最终得以在怡保布先找到最适合的地方，整部电影几乎95%在大马完成拍摄。电影还有不少的特效，使到整体视觉效果加倍升级。” 

李国煌则说：“拍摄梁导的戏，从来就不简单，但这一次特别辛苦，因为戏中有一场下大雨淹水的戏，拍摄进入深夜，演员又冷又累，苦浸水池拍摄十二小时，这场戏的难度堪称是前所未有。” 

李丽贞在开拍之前跌倒，坏了牙齿，在梁导正费尽思量怎么把她弄得看起来更“苦”的时候，看到了她崩了一截的牙齿就下令她必须全程“丑”着上阵，让陈丽贞高呼：“上次拍梁导的《新兵正传三：蛙人传》演的是丑角，这次也是特别丑，梁导就是非要把她弄丑不可。”

当记者询问梁志强对《我们的故事》票房期许时，梁导说只要和大马电影Ola Bola持平就满意了！显然对电影的期待颇高。

电影主要用福建话为主，让懂得福建话的人觉得很亲切。当然，梁志强的电影都是有喜有悲的，这部电影也不例外。我们被主角们刻苦的精神深深感动。你们一定要去戏院捧场哦。

谢谢 mm2 Entertainment 的邀请，我们昨晚在Cathay Cineplex , eCurve观看了电影《唐人街探案》在马来西亚的首播。标榜着年度最有“泰度”的爆笑动作片，我想大家都对这部电影有所期待！事实上，我们蛮喜欢这部集合了动作，搞笑，和悬疑的电影。《唐人街探案》是由王宝强、刘昊然、佟丽娅、陈赫主演，首部在泰国取景的中国喜剧动作电影。大部分场景是在泰国曼谷的唐人街拍摄的。那里的风土人情和色彩让整部电影生色不少。
